Flag Day. Street collection and sale of national floral emblems, the work of blind and crippled girls in connection with John Groom’s Crippleage & Flower Girls mission, London, for the Horsham Urban District National Relief Fund Saturday, October 10th, 1914. In order to increase our funds for the relief of dependents of workmen thrown out of employment in consequence of the war.

Many Ladies of the town have volunteered their services to aid in the disposal of the Emblems. On behalf of the local relief committee I solicit the hearty support of everyone who can spare one penny and upwards to help the movement.

Signed: Charles Rowland Chairman of HUDC.
