Missions to the Heathen. A Public Meeting of Persons interested in the Extension of Christ’s Kingdom among the Heathen, will be held in the Assembly Room, Richmond Arms Hotel, Horsham, on Monday the 4th of November next, at two o’clock in the afternoon.

This Meeting is convened under the sanction of The Lord Bishop of Chichester, who will, (if possible,) preside: and it will be Addressed, among others, by The Rev G U Pope, the celebrated Missionary, through whose laborious ministry the late extensive Conversion of the Heathen in India ahs has, under God, been chiefly effected.

After the Meeting a Collection will be made in aid of the Funds of the venerable Society for the Propagion of the Gospenl in Foreign Parts. There will be also a Meeting held at the Boys’ National School, at a quarter past Seven in the Evening.
