Itchingfield Parish Sale and Fete Thursday June 8th 1916 in the Rectory Field. Stalls: Needlework, Fancy Work, Provisions, Flowers, Cafe Chantant, Theatricals, Lucky Tub, Cocoanut Shy, Houp-la and various sideshows. The fete will be opened at 2.45p.m. by P S Godman Esq.,

The Full Band of Christ’s Hospital (by kind permission of the Headmaster) will play at intervals.
Dancing in the evening on the Rectory Lawn 7.30 to 9 – Admission to dance threepence.
