Horsham Urban District Council Election
To the Electors, Ladies and Gentleman,
In appreciation of the splendid work done by Mr Albery, Mr Apedaile, and others in connection with Horsham Park House for the people and in order to strengthen their position in the council I offer myself as a candidate in the forthcoming election.
I entirely support their views on this question and will, if elected, uphold them in their ideals to make the Horsham Park House a most valuable asset to the community.
If the people desire it, my careful consideration would be given to extend the Park, should a favourable opportunity occur.
I am proud of Horsham and for the 20 years I have resided here I have always endeavoured to play my part in the development and progress of the town.
Regarding the Water, Drainage and Electric Light Questions the schemes for improvement are already in hand so I can only enter into this part of the programme with an open mind but I will do my best to use that for all money spent the Ratepayers will receive twenty shillings in the pound value.
I am in favour of the adoption fo the town planning act.
I am not a member of any political party.
Trusting to receive you very kind support.
Yours Faithfully J H Carter
