The Horsham Amalgamated Friendly Societies Hospital Sunday Fund. Church Parade will be held on Sunday August 1st 1915.
When the members will assemble at 2 o’clock on the Carfax. The principal streets will be paraded the procession starting at 2.30 sharp, headed by the Horsham Town, Recreation and Salvation Army Bands and proceed to St Mary’s Parish Church where a sermon will be preached by the Rev A G de Rougemont, MA (Rector of of Itchingfield). Service to commence at 3.30 pm. The Urban Council, Fire Brigade, Volunteer Training Corps, Horsham Brotherhood, and Church Lads’ Brigade will join in the Parade.
Collections in aid of the British Red Cross Society, Royal Sussex County, Horsham Cottage, Sussex Eye, Brighton Throat and Ear Hospitals and Horsham District Nursing Association. Collections will be taken at Rehoboth and Jireh Chapels, Roman Catholic Church, Railway Mission Hall, Salvation Army, the Horsham and Brighton Road Brotherhoods, and Society of Friends. The Committee earnestly call upon all to assist them by their contributions to further the above desirable objects and hope that members of the Friendly Societies will endeavour to march in the procession.
