The Annual Church Parade of Friendly Societies in aid of the above fund will be held on Sunday, August 1st, 1920 when the members will assemble on the Carfax at 2.15 sharp, and parade the principal streets, headed by the Horsham Town Prize Band, and the Salvation Army Band and proceed to St. Mary’s Parish Church where a sermon will be preached by the Rev. Morley L C Headlam (Vicar of Horsham).
Service to commence at 3.30pm

Members of the Horsham Urban District Council, Fire Brigade, Postman’s Federation, NUR, Workers’ Union, Builders’ Federation, and Comrades of the Great War will join the parade.
The Horsham Town Prize Band will play the hymn tunes in church.

The collections will be in aid of the Sussex County, Horsham Cottage, the Ear and Throat, and Brighton Eye Hospitals, and the Horsham District Nursing Association.
There will also be collections at Rehoboth & Jireh Chapels, Railway Mission Hall, Salvation Army, Baptist Chapel, Friends’ Meeting House, and Free Christian Church.
The committee earnestly call upon all to assist them by their contributions to further the above desirable objects, all of which are urgently in need of funds, and hope that the members of friendly societies will endeavour to march in the procession. Juvenile members particularly requested to attend.
