For Schools

Our Freelance Education Officers, Helen Clark and Miranda Mitchell, are giving free interactive workshops in local schools.

The workshops cover topics such as World War II, Victorians, photography, politics and art in posters for classes between years 1 and 13.

Contact Helen or Miranda to discuss your requirements and to book a workshop.

Miranda: “I have so far used the posters in school in talks about World War 2 looking at women in wartime, how the war affected everyday life and the war effort. I have given talks about the Victorians using the posters to investigate the differences in society, everyday life and money. The children have enjoyed looking at posters from the actual period they are studying.”

Coming SoonA new education section of the website with resources for schools will launch in the school year 2014-2015.
